Bergere de France website our new knitting workshops run by Isabelle Caillet start Sat 3rd July - please follow link for details - craft classesIsabelle Caillet is a fantastic knitter and knitwear designer- we are very lucky to have her - she will be taking classes once a month: I have been knitting on and off for years but I really got the bug about ten years ago and haven’t stopped making sweaters, hats, gloves, socks, tea cosies, cat beds to name a few since. I have to knit every day and am addicted to texture and colour. In fact I’m not sure I knit responsibly! I like trying out new techniques and have ventured into designing myself. I like to make functional items that have visual and tactile appeal. Textiles and in particular yarns exactly fulfill that mission! Not to mention the social benefits of knitting like knitting for a cause, knitting gifts, knitting together. You could spend a lifetime knitting and still be learning new things.
book now as class limited to only 5 places!
